I finally took a walking tour of Cornerstone Baptist Church this past week and I was impressed with the Food Pantry. Debbie gave me the grand tour, showed me the area where the food is stored, and walked me through the process of how people in need are able to obtain groceries for their table.

She also showed me the rack where free books are offered (including Bibles) and the nicely decorated area where our guests are received. Debbie says that she has some volunteers but I'll bet she could use more. This is a great outreach ministry and Cornerstone is fulfilling a need by feeding the hungry.

We are in the process of applying with other organizations where we can receive and distribute even more with a larger variety. It is no secret that people are hurting everywhere and many don't know where to turn. I thank God for the people at Cornerstone with the foresight to step in and fill a basic need in such a wonderful way.
