What a Day (so far ...)

What a great day, and we are only half done! We had Sunday School (Bible study), we had worship, and we had the preaching of the Word. The message today was from the Book of Ruth, Chapter 3.

After the morning service, we had a wonderful fellowship lunch together and then a time of question and answer in which anyone could ask me anything they wanted; ministry, family, my age (can you believe that?) ... I had the opportunity to share my testimony on how I was saved and it is a tribute to the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did on Calvary's cross for me.

We meet tonight at 6pm for a time of worship and the Word ... James chapter 2 and how that relates to the crowds that Jesus drew.

Thank you all, so much, for your hospitality, your love, and your openness to the Carter family. My mother-in-law was "blown away" by how loving and caring you are. She commented that "these people are real!" Thanks for loving on her.

See you tonight at 6pm.
