We were just starting a good day here in Corsicana, finishing cleaning out my office and ready to run errands then off to Dallas for the day.

Linda stepped off a curb wrong, rolled her ankle and and went down. Huge raspberry on her knee and shin, but the real damage was to the ankle. She had broken it a couple of years ago (hair-line fracture) and the same swelling in the same place immediately came up.

I doctored her and got her to Dallas. She called the doctor and she has an appointment with him Monday for an x-ray. We are grateful that it wasn't worse. I have already been accused of pushing her down but I flatly deny that! When she tripped on the stairs a few years ago, I was still in bed (promise!) ...

Thank you, Lord, that it wasn't worse.
